NTERA is the leading developer of advanced, fully printable electrochromic materials enabling display and color change applications for Smart Cards, Smart Packaging, and Smart Objects. NTERA's NanoChromics™ Ink Systems enable very low cost manufacturing of printed electronic displays on a variety of flexible substrate materials using industry standard printing techniques and equipment. These ultra-thin, sunlight-readable, low power NCD™ displays can be integrated into any number of products, including plastic cards, packaging, smart labels, RFID systems, greeting cards, toys and games, and consumer electronic devices. NTERA is based in suburban Philadelphia, PA USA, with research and development facilities in Dublin, Ireland.
Leadership
David M. Corr PhD, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
Co-founder of NTERA, and a pioneer in nanomaterial science and nanotechnology with extensive commercial experience, David serves as Chief Executive Officer of NTERA. Under David's leadership, NTERA successfully transitioned from research to commercialization. Over this time period, David has helped secure over $30 million in private equity funding and has been responsible for developing many of NTERA's early academic and commercial relationships. Previously, David held positions in research and engineering with Wyeth Medica Ireland, where he was responsible for technology transfer and new product introductions. David is a widely recognized industry expert and inventor in the field of nanomaterial science with over 10 patent families in the area of nanoparticle electrochromics.
David holds bachelor's degrees in chemistry, mathematics and biology, a master's degree in business administration, and a PhD in chemistry from University College Dublin.
Alain C. Briançon, PhD
Chief Technology Officer
Alain is a technology visionary and innovator (more than 26 issued patents and 34 pending) with 25+ years of expertise in the display, wireless and semiconductor industries. Alain is responsible for NTERA's technology, engineering, and intellectual property strategy. Prior to joining NTERA, Alain served as CTO of InterDigital Communications Corp. where he significantly increased the IP portfolio to over 3000 patents and applications. Previously, Alain served as a Vice President at Motorola and PageNet, and also served in executive and technology roles at BellSouth and GTE Spacenet.
Alain holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science as well as a PhD in electrical engineering, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Chris Giacoponello
Vice President, Business Development and Marketing
Chris brings more than 15 years of experience in international business development, marketing, and product line management. Prior to joining NTERA, Chris held several positions at Comverse Technologies with responsibility for strategic alliances, product management and marketing. Previous experience includes profit and loss responsibility and management of strategic programs at InterDigital Communications Corp., and engineering project management at GE Aerospace.
Chris holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Bucknell University, and a master of science in electrical engineering from Villanova University.
Linda F. Montemayor
Chief Legal and Administrative Officer
With over 20 years of broad legal experience, Linda is responsible for the legal, finance and administrative functions at NTERA. Prior to joining NTERA, Linda served as a legal consultant to corporate clients in the technology, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. She also served as in-house corporate counsel at Saint-Gobain Corporation and UGI Corporation, and started her career at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
Linda holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Bucknell University, and a law degree from Columbia University School of Law.
